According to the official court minutes, the Court issued the following orders:

  • The Court DENIED Plaintiff Amy Taylor’s application for default judgment against Jamie Nelson Studios LLC
  • The Court ordered the parties to complete mediation by April 23, 2026
  • A post-mediation status conference was set for April 27, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

The minutes state:

“Application for Entry of Default Judgment Against Defendant Jamie Nelson Studios LLC [59] is DENIED.”

The Court also adjusted the case schedule to prioritize mediation before further proceedings.

At the March 30 hearing, the Court indicated that Plaintiff Amy Taylor would be permitted an opportunity to amend the complaint. However, in its earlier tentative ruling, the Court stated that it “fails to see how Plaintiff could amend her Complaint to overcome the Rogers test.”
